The website was ready. The final draft was ready. It was time to click ‘Publish’.
I kept going back and forth in prayer to God. What if no one reads this? What if they laugh at me? So many what ifs. And through every prayer, I would be led to scripture reminding me to do His calling; reminding me I am a born-again Christian commanded to share the Good News; reminding me that He has given me knowledge of the Bible; and reminding me that He gifted me with the ability to write.
The rest was up to me. I had to take that first step to see His promise fulfilled.
I took that first step. I clicked ‘Publish’!
What happened next? Peace happened. I had immediate peace. God promised me all will be fine, and all is fine.
It is an honor and privilege to be called by God to serve others through writing. I never want it to be about how many are reading because I am the writer. I want it to be about how many are reading because it is about Jesus.
