“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” – Psalm 100: 4-5
Did you leave your spirit of worship at church this weekend? Or did you bring it home with you?
In Psalm 100, David tells us to acknowledge that the Lord is God. We should accept His authority over every detail of our life. Worship is supposed to be life-long act of the born-again believer.
We should have a heart and desire to worship the one true God. Lord of Lords. King of Kings. We should be exalting Christ in every area of our life, everyday of our life; cultivating a lifestyle of worship. Further, entering His gates with praise and thanksgiving for His enduring love and direction.
Our worship can expound further into our life as we love on others: helping and encouraging in their time of need. When we serve others, we are reflecting the light of Jesus and exalting God.
God is good all the time. And all the time, God is good. We should be giving Him honor, praise and glory all the time.
